ANIMA was born at the intersection of two worlds — the artisanal accessories of BLACKWOOD Atelier and the object design of RUDA Studio.
BLACKWOOD’s signature wooden panels became a canvas for RUDA Studio’s meticulous straw marquetry. Natural materials and handcraft became the shared language of the two brands.

THE REFINED ART OF STRAW MARQUETRY
The art of straw marquetry transforms the texture of wood into a living play of light. Rye stems undergo bespoke tinting before being delicately flattened and calibrated entirely by hand.
Each element of the pattern is laid individually to compose a singular visual narrative. This meticulous process imbues the piece with lasting meaning, turning it into a family heirloom for your most cherished memories.
