Aurora Red Saffiano is an architectural handcrafted leather bag from the Red Flame Flower collection, in red Italian Saffiano calfskin with solid Carpathian ash sides, where petals of king red protea are preserved beneath clear jewelry resin.
Designed with a sunrise-inspired curved wooden handle and a solar disc flap. The protea is taken apart petal by petal and rebuilt inside the wooden sides, so the flower keeps its form at a smaller scale. Carried by hand, on the shoulder, or crossbody via the adjustable strap.
No two compositions are identical; the grain of the ash and the set of each petal make each piece its own.

THE ART OF HANDCRAFT
Solid Carpathian ash is milled to shape and inlaid by hand with petals of king red protea, then sealed beneath crystal-clear jewelry resin. Italian Saffiano leather is precision-cut and hand-stitched into Aurora’s sculptural form by the artisans of BLACKWOOD Atelier.
