Magritte Grey
Description of BLACKWOOD Magritte Grey Wooden Sunglasses
The signature BLACKWOOD Magritte Grey wooden sunglasses are inspired by the art of René Magritte — an artist who explored the fragile boundary between reality and illusion. His works remind us: the world is not always what it seems, and our gaze is just one of the possible versions of reality.
The frame is handcrafted from natural African blackwood and reinforced with inner layers of carbon fiber, which provide the structure with durability and lightness. The unisex shape suits both women and men.
The model is equipped with photochromic ZEISS lenses in a neutral grey tint with UV-400 protection. Indoors, they remain almost transparent, and under sunlight, they gradually darken, combining the functions of optical and sun lenses. Reinforced metal flex hinges provide a soft opening of the temples and a perfect fit.
