Aurora Purple Heart Shiny Rose is an architectural handcrafted leather bag from the Purple Heart collection, created for the ninth anniversary of BLACKWOOD Atelier. It pairs Italian Saffiano calfskin in Shiny Rose with sculptural sides of natural amaranth, where a rose of pink mother-of-pearl is preserved beneath clear jewelry resin.
Designed with a sunrise-inspired curved wooden handle and a solar disc flap. Against the pale, lacquered Saffiano the amaranth reads almost black, and over the years its burgundy deepens further. Carried by hand, on the shoulder, or crossbody via the adjustable strap. A heart-shaped pendant in the same Shiny Rose leather completes the bag; proceeds from it go to the Starenki foundation for the elderly.
No two roses are identical; the amaranth grain and the mother-of-pearl decide each one.

THE ART OF HANDCRAFT
Natural amaranth is milled to shape and inlaid by hand with a rose of pink mother-of-pearl, then sealed beneath crystal-clear jewelry resin. Italian Saffiano leather is precision-cut and hand-stitched into Aurora’s sculptural form by the artisans of BLACKWOOD Atelier.
